How To Make The Best Cookies Of Your Life Alfajores

Los alfajores son un popular dulce tradicional de la cocina latinoamericana, en particular de países como Argentina, Perú y Uruguay. Ingredientes:
- 1 ½ tazas de harina
- ½ taza de maicena (fécula de maíz)
- 1 cucharadita de polvo de hornear
- ¼ de cucharadita de sal
- ½ taza de mantequilla a temperatura ambiente
- ½ taza de azúcar
- 3 yemas de huevo
- 1 cucharadita de extracto de vainilla
- Dulce de leche para el relleno
- Azúcar glas para espolvorear

Instrucciones:

1. En un tazón, tamiza la harina, maicena, polvo de hornear y sal juntas. Mezcla bien y reserva.

2. En otro tazón grande, bate la mantequilla y el azúcar hasta obtener una mezcla suave y cremosa.

3. Agrega las yemas de huevo una a la vez, batiendo bien después de cada adición. Incorpora el extracto de vainilla.

4. Añade poco a poco la mezcla de harina a la mezcla de mantequilla, revolviendo hasta que se forme una masa suave y homogénea.

5. Divide la masa en dos partes y envuélvelas en papel film. Refrigera durante al menos 30 minutos.

6. Precalienta el horno a 180°C (350°F).

7. Con una pequeña cantidad de harina en tus manos, toma porciones de masa y forma pequeñas bolitas. Colócalas en una bandeja para hornear, dejando un poco de espacio entre cada una.

8. Hornea las galletas durante unos 10-12 minutos, o hasta que estén ligeramente doradas en los bordes. Retíralas del horno y déjalas enfriar completamente en una rejilla.

9. Una vez que las galletas estén completamente frías, extiende una cucharadita de dulce de leche sobre la parte de abajo de una de las galletas y luego presiona suavemente otra galleta encima para formar un sándwich.

Hi everyone and welcome back to sonya's prep in this week's video i wanted to share with you how i made these incredible alpha drawers they're basically a butter cookie with a caramel cream in the center of it and classically it's dipped into some coconut flakes so i

Wanted to take you along and get into the so i wanted to take you along and show you just how i made them here you go okay let's get into the video these melt in your mouth the caramel filled cookies are just incredible i mean who wouldn't

Love them they're filled with caramel they're very simple to make and come together very quickly we're going to be using simple ingredients and i'll show you just how i make them in a stand mixer i'm going to be using three sticks of butter that's right three sticks

Of butter this is a butter cookie recipe i beat the butter for about five minutes until the butter turns white to that once beaten i'm going to be adding in one and a half cups of confectioners sugar beat that together until everything is incorporated and don't forget to scrape down the sides

Of the bowl to incorporate everything throughout [Music] to that i add in one tablespoon of vanilla extract followed by two egg whites beat that really well for about two minutes until everything is incorporated [Music] you will need to add in about 500 grams of all-purpose flour which is about

3 cups plus 2 tablespoons add that all in a little bit at a time i did about two tablespoons to three tablespoons at a time give it a mix in between and keep adding all of the tablespoons of flour until you have finished everything up [Music] after incorporating all of the

Flour you're going to be left with a buttery thick batter don't forget to scrape down the sides of your bowl to get all of the bits incorporated [Music] to shape the cookies i prepared two large parchment papers i dump in all of the batter

Onto one side of the parchment paper and cover it with the other side Roll out the dough until you reach about four millimeters in thickness place the rolled out dough into the refrigerator for 10 minutes that's going to make the butter stiffen up and it's going to be much easier to shape your cookies peel off the top layer use a

Two to three inch cookie round that you're gonna shape your cookies with and make your shapes [Music] i then place the shaped cookies onto a parchment lined cookie sheet to bake the cookies i preheat the oven set at 340 degrees fahrenheit depending on the

Thickness of your cookies they will bake anywhere between 13 to 15 minutes separately now i'm going to be preparing the dolce de leche which is the caramel i'm going to be placing it into a baggie if you don't have one of these piping bags you could simply use a ziploc

Bag just cut off the tip of it and it'll do just fine so i'm going to be placing the entire jar as much as can fit into the piping bag [Music] now that the cookies are out of the oven i place them on the table to cool completely [Music] i flip over every other row of the cookie so that it could be easy for me to fill up the cookies with the dulce de leche cream

I place a generous amount of the caramel cream in the middle because it's important to be able to have the caramel to go all the way around the sides of the cookie And now the cookies are all done and ready and they look just delicious and scrumptious as they are but the final step is to dip each cookie into some coconut flakes and this is the reason why i've really prolonged from making these cookies because honestly i'll

Tell you a secret i'm not such a big fan of coconut flakes i don't enjoy their texture or their crunch or their taste so i was always thinking i shouldn't make alpha drawers because i wouldn't be doing it the right way but i like butter cookies and i really like caramel

So i really wanted to make this recipe so i just did an alternative i dipped it all into some almond flour almond flour is just really blanched almonds that have been shredded so it's not like you're eating raw flour and let me tell you guys it was super delicious
